Follow the road from Pylos to Messini and then turn left to find yourself in the beach of Agios Nikolaos. It has very fine pebble and the only thing you will find apart from the beach and the sea is a shower and a dressing-cubicle.
Bouka Beach   (Messene)

Bouka beach is among the largest and best- organized beaches in Messinia. It is a large space of fine sand, equipped with beach bars over the beach, beach volley courts, showers and dressing-cubicles, while on the road above it there is a playground, a football court 5x5 and coffee bars.

It is a beautiful small bay with little pebbles outside and sand inside; fishermen call it barkaria (loading area) because in the past it was used for unloading the salt brought from Mani. Over the beach there is a nice tavern with view to the sea.
Makrinamos Beach   (Petalidi)
